This page created specifically to prevent people being ripped off in auction by scammers seeking to victimize newbies. They are well aware that there isn't a search feature on shop and use that to their advantage. I've seen shop items on auction that were priced five times over shop price, it's ridiculous. The free enterprise system (the rip-off artists' lame excuse for being lower-than-pond-scum dirt balls) only goes so far. Here are some of the things in shop you may not be aware of. Get familiar with the prices of items that aren't "rare" or "limited" as some may claim. I also keep a running list (which grows every single day) of the "scammers" by checking their prices against the designer prices and seeing what exorbitant prices they're trying to get away with. I personally refuse to do business with them, perhaps you will consider doing the same. For auction items, do an exact title search on the item you're seeking to see all the pricing available to you. By the way...my above statement about dirt balls would be considered "griefing" in THERE and is frowned upon. However, guess what...I'm on my own web site and they can all sink to the bottom of the ocean with the rest of the whale sh*t. Bwahahaha!

| Special Notes On Documents Style of Document - CHARACTER LIMIT - L = Hyperlink or NL = NO Hyperlink Pay attention to your options before you save the document. You get 250 copies of any document style. There are options on allowing others to take copies,whether to publish in the library, and charging a fee to view your documents. Personally, I'd never charge someone a fee to view my documents, but that's up to you. Sometimes I let people take copies and sometimes I don't, it depends on what I'm using it for. If you have allowed the taking of copies, keep in mind that when you change the contents of the documents, the contents also change in the copies that have been taken already by people. Only Brochures, Rulebooks, and Scrolls contain Hyperlinks. Use these to add a teleport or web site link inside. However, they limit you to 1000 characters (punctuation and spaces are counted as characters, by the way). If I want 9000 characters and a link, I get the regular books and paste the link inside for others to copy and paste into their browsers. |
